Should you wish to object to an application submitted under the Licensing Act 2003, your objection must relate to one of the four Licensing Objectives which are:
- The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
- Public Safety
- The Prevention of Public Nuisance
- The Protection of Children from Harm
Objections must be submitted in writing to the Licensing Officer, North Shropshire District Council, Edinburgh House, New Street, Wem, Shropshire SY4 5DB before the closing date for representations.
In the event of an objection being received that can not be resolved, then the application will be heard by a Panel of three Councillors and both the applicant and the objector will be invited to attend and present their cases at a public meeting.
