Notice of Intention to Adopt the Local Plan
A copy of the 'Notice of intention to adopt' the Local Plan can be downloaded from this website. A 28 day period for the Secretary of State to intervene in the process of adoption concluded on 1 December 2005. The Council will now move to adopt the Plan and publish a statutory notice of adoption. A six week period to allow any potential High Court challenge to the legality of adopting the Plan begins at this date.

- The Revised Deposit Local Plan 2000-2011;
- The report of the person who held the local inquiry (Inspector's Report, March 2005);
- The authority's statement of reasons and decisions in the light of the report (Proposed Modifications, May 2005);
- The authority's statement of reasons and decisions as respects objections to the proposals (Further Proposed Modifications, September 2005)
