Better Welcome Programme
The Better Welcome Programme is being funded by Advantage West Midlands and is currently being implemented in Whitchurch, Market Drayton and Wem. The Programme aims to promote the vitality of each town's businesses through tourism, whilst offering support and advice in tackling challenges that businesses may face in developing their tourism potential and providing a regional focus for tourism related opportunities. Ellesmere Visitor Economy Package
A package of tourism projects being funded by Advantage West Midlands through the Ellesmere Market Towns Programme. The projects include:
- Food and drink festival
- Steamboat on the Mere
- Ellesmere Interpretation
- Town entry signs
- Transnational art exhibition
- Marketing and promotion
