Leisure Card

What is a Leisure Card used for?

1. A Leisure Card will give you concessionary rates if you fall into one of the categories below. When applying for your Leisure Card you need to bring with you appropriate identification.  Examples are listed at the side of each concessionary group.
   • Pensioner 60+ - Proof of date of birth
   • Unemployed - Unemployment benefit proof
   • Disabled - Disabled allowance/badge
   • Student - Student Card or College letter
2. The Leisure Card is also used for Season Ticket holders, as payments for this will be stored on the  card.  Your initial season ticket purchase will be entered on the card and further replacement season ticket tariffs will be added to the card on a top up basis.

Please note you will need to apply for your Card before purchasing a season ticket.

What is included in the discount?

As a concession you will be entitled to discount on admission prices to Market Drayton Swimming Centre & Whitchurch Swimming Centre for the following sessions:

• Public Swimming
• Adults Only
• Swimming Lessons
• Crash Courses

If you are a concession and you have a season ticket, you will be entitled to the appropriate discount on the price of your season ticket.

Season Ticket holders who are not concessions will have to pay normal season ticket charges.

How do I apply for a Leisure Card?

To obtain your Leisure Card, complete an application form by either downloading and printing the online form using the link at the bottom of this page, then take it to the swimming centre with the appropriate identification, for verification, or complete a form at the swimming centre reception, making sure you take the appropriate identification with you.

What happens next?

Your membership application will be processed within 7-10 days and your  Leisure Card will be posted to you.  During the processing period you will not be entitled to any discounts or season ticket sessions.

Your card will be valid for 6 months, except for the 60+ concession category, which will run indefinitely.  After this period you will need to reapply.  A full list of the conditions of use will be sent with your card.
