Worth the tax?
We are going on tour, to give people a chance to tell us what they think of our services, what we could do better and what we do well. This won't be a meeting with lots of speeches but a drop-in session where you can spend as long as you like finding out more about the Council and talking to the Councillors and Managers who use your tax money to deliver services in the district.
We will visit venues across the district in December and will collect responses in time for the Council to use the feedback to set its budgets in February. You can have your say at:
| Venue | Date | Time |
| Shawbury Village Hall | Tuesday 4 December | 2pm - 6pm |
| Wem Town Hall | Thursday 6 December | 5pm - 9pm |
| Hadnall Village Hall | Friday 7 December | 2pm - 6pm |
| Ellesmere Market Hall | Tuesday 11 December | 10am - 2pm |
| Market Drayton Market | Wednesday 12 December | 10am - 2pm |
| Norton in Hales Jubilee Hall | Wednesday 12 December | 5pm - 9pm |
| Whitchurch Market Hall | Friday 14 December | 10am - 2pm |
You may also download a copy of the poster or flyer.
You may also give your feedback by playing our Budget Simulator. This game gives you an oopportunity to decide how to spend the Council Tax and see what the consequences will be when you add or remove funding from the different areas of the Council's services.
