Unitary consultation

Shropshire County Council, South Shropshire District Council and Oswestry Borough Council have prepared a proposal that there should be unitary government in Shropshire. North Shropshire District Council has prepared a document which looks at the summary of the proposal and indicates what the impact would be for North Shropshire. You can read this document online or download it as a PDF.

At its meeting on 23 January 2007, the District Council voted to object to the proposal.
