Relate - The relationship people, has over 60 years experience in helping people relationship problems.
Resolve - Working in partnership with Your Local District Councils
Relate and Resolve are independent and confidential services for those experiencing family breakdown which might lead to homelessness.
The service works by addressing underlying conflict, strengthening relationships enabling you to work towards your own solution.

Is it for you?
Resolve offers help to individuals, partner's families and friends facing homelessness due to relationship break down.
How can it help?
Applicants for homelessness may be offered an initial consultation, to discuss with a Young People/Family Counsellor their particular circumstances. If required we can provide a place for you to talk with professional support.
What you can do?
When you have a consultation booked, we expect you to keep your appointment, or telephone to cancel it giving at least 48 hours notice; this gives us time to arrange to see other people who may need help.
Will it cost anything?
As an applicant for homelessness assistance, you may be supported in this service by the Options Team, so there will be no charge to you.
What's the point?
We believe that homelessness is often preventable.
In cases where communication between people has broken down, the potential exists for those involved to try to work through the issues and find new ways to approach challenges in their relationships.
