Breast Cancer Campaign Fundraising Event
Did you know that October 2008 is Breast Cancer Awareness Month?
In support of the Breast Cancer Campaign, Market Drayton Swimming Centre is hosting a fundraising swimming session on Sunday 26th October.
The session will take place from 4.00pm - 5.00pm, with complimentary refreshments being provided throughout.
Charges for the session are:
Adult £2.00 - with £1.00 going towards the Breast Cancer Campaign
Child £1.00 - which will wholly go to the Breast Cancer Campaign
The Breast Cancer Campaign's mission is to beat breast cancer by helping to fund innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.
In the UK, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer. One woman in nine will be diagnosed with the disease in her lifetime. Each year around 44,000 women and 300 men are diagnosed with breast cancer.
Please come and show your support at the Centre and help do your bit for the charity.
