Gypsy and traveller sites
Land and Premises
Homelessness in the case of travellers may not necessarily occur because of a lack of accommodation. For travellers, lack of somewhere to place their caravan may cause homelessness.
Shropshire County Council is responsible for the management of five sites for travellers around the county. The five sites are at:
- Craven Arms
- Cross Houses
- Oswestry
- Pontesbury
- Prees
Between them these 'mini villages' can accommodate 48 families.
