Bank Holiday Refuse Collection Arrangements
From Monday 1 October 2007, Shropshire Waste Partnership are responsible for managing household waste and recycling services on behalf of Bridgnorth District Council, North Shropshire District Council, Oswestry Borough Council, Shropshire County Council and South Shropshire District Council.
These services will be delivered on behalf of SWP by Veolia Environmental Services.
What does this mean for you?
If you live in the Bridgnorth, North Shropshire, Oswestry or South Shropshire areas, you should only notice a few small changes.
- Your waste collection crews will be wearing new uniforms.
- Your waste may be collected in a new lorry.
- You now need to call a new telephone number if you have any questions about your waste services. The new number to call is 0845 678 9009.
- Veolia will be responsible for producing and delivering your collection date calendars and other information leaflets.
Bank Holiday Refuse Collections
The next bank holidays will be Christmas and New Year. Collection arrangements will be available on this webpage later this year.
Please ensure your bins are out for collection by no later than 7.00am on the due collection date. Note - Collection weeks will remain as scheduled. If it is your green bin week it will remain a green collection. If the grey collection is due, then grey bins will be emptied.
